A brain wave pattern was a measure of an individual's cerebral activity.
While explaining the behaviour of two men under the influence of King Pio's flute Agent Marjol Rin'an stated that she had run a scan of them and that their brain wave patterns were consistent with drug use. This fabrication was to conceal the role the artefact had planned in their sudden and unusual violent behaviour.[1]
