Overcome Eight was the call sign used by Overcome Squadron. Typically Overcome Six was the wingmate of Overcome Seven.
During the Battle of Korvat Overcome Eight's Peregrine attack fighter's port impulse engine was damaged by the Predator-class the squadron was attacking. They along with Overcome Seven were ordered to move clear of the engagement.[1]
